OCTOBER:  Closing Day for the Ladies was a great success with four rinks playing our last game for the season,  followed by a lovely Afternoon Tea and a glass of Fizz.  It has been a good season for the Ladies, although the weather at times could have been better.  Saturday 28th was the Club Closing Day with more than 63 people wishing to play, the sun shone and a good afternoon was had by all.  This year we had a catered meal following the bowls and we had the maximum number of 72 which was a great success.

On Friday 27th 33 ladies went on a trip to Pitlochry with a visit to the theatre to see 'Blonde Bombshells of 1943' followed by High Tea. We all had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the show. A big thank you must go to Margo Dunn who arranged everything

Our regular Coffee mornings will resume on 30th October 10.30am.

The Ladies Prizegiving and Dinner will be held on 23rd October at Brunstfield Golf Club. This is always a good evening and everyone is looking forward to it.
